Amber Hofmaier

Before the spotlight ever hits, Amber builds the kind of partnership you can’t fake. With a deep-rooted commitment to the mental and physical well-being of every horse, Amber’s approach is grounded in patience, consistency, and clear communication.

Every horse in her program is treated as an individual. Whether she’s working with untouched mustangs or seasoned performance horses, her focus is on building confidence, relaxation, and responsiveness.

A four-time Mustang Makeover finalist and the 2025 Mustang Magic Champion, Amber is widely respected for her ability to take wild, uncertain horses and shape them into trusted, capable partners. Her methods are thoughtful, proven, and rooted in real horsemanship.

Amber has performed across the United States and Canada with her celebrated three-horse liberty team, most notably in her Greek mythology–inspired liberty show, Athena’s Flying Horses. Her work was also featured on Season 5 of Tilt, bringing her message of connection and authenticity to a national audience.

From groundwork to liberty to performance, Amber’s passion lies in helping horses and humans communicate, trust, and excel—together.
